The Deloreans of Minnesota and teamed up to help promote “Framing John Delorean ” premiered in the Twin Cities and we were there to help promote it.

Delorean Historian and DMCTalk Administrator & Creator, Tamir Ardon, produced this amazing documentary based on the life of John Delorean. With four Deloreans staged, including the RentDelorean Time Car here in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, we made our presence known. It was a little nervous getting the cars there and into position, but with the help of Mike from the Landmark Lagoon Theater, we made it a very smooth transition into place for about 3 hours. Onlookers walked over to the cars on their way to the surrounding night life and inquired many questions as to what was going on. Delorean owners were very proud of their cars as well as happy to promote such an amazing film. If you haven’t seen “Framing John Delorean” in theaters yet, make it a plan to! The Landmark Lagoon in Uptown Minnesota was a great place for us to see the film.

Synopsis of the film:

Money, power, politics, drugs, scandal, and fast cars. The incredible story of John DeLorean is the stuff of a Hollywood screenwriter’s dreams. But who was the real John DeLorean? To some, he was a renegade visionary who revolutionized the automobile industry. To others, he was the ultimate con man. For the first time, Framing John DeLorean recounts the extraordinary life and legend of the controversial automaker, tracing his meteoric rise through the ranks of General Motors, his obsessive quest to build a sports car that would conquer the world, and his shocking fall from grace on charges of cocaine trafficking. Interweaving a treasure trove of archival footage with dramatic vignettes starring Alec Baldwin, Framing John DeLorean is a gripping look at a man who gambled everything in his pursuit of the American Dream.
