AJ's Surprise Birthday

I had the honor of making AJ's Day! A gentleman by the name of Frank contacted me via RentDelorean.com and wanted his nephew to have a special birthday surprise!! I've done a number of birthdays before but AJ's was different. AJ was born with damaged inner ears, but due to a recent implant called a cochlear implant, AJ was able to hear. This is an electronic medical device replaces the function of the damaged inner ear. Unlike hearing aids, which make sounds louder, cochlear implants do the work of damaged parts of the inner ear (cochlea) to provide sound signals to the brain. When I showed up, and saw how excited this little boy was, I became emotional inside. It was so amazing to see and meet such a cool little kid light up when he saw the Back To The Future car replica show up on his driveway, but had no idea how special this experience became for me as well. I really enjoyed making this birthday special with something as neat at the Time Machine. I hope to see AJ again sometime in the future! Thanks AJ for letting me make your day really fun!
